Warning: The commentary of this comic contains spoilers regarding the ending to the Mega Man Zero series.
When Zero at last fought Weil, the space station Ragnarok crashed into earth with him on it. After seeing the ending, I realized a huge missed opportunity to the Mega Man Zero series - Zero never went Maverick. Think about it; the reason he never was truly infected with the Maverick Virus was because he was designed by Wily to be what would be considered a Maverick already. The doubled effects made him a noble warrior, though he spread the virus wherever he went. When his body was copied, I don't believe Weil had figured out how his immunity to the Maverick Virus worked. What are the odds that a robot that traveled the world would not contract the most contagious virus of the twenty-second and twenty-third centuries?
Maybe you don't notice it, but in the last panel, I used RyanMC's resizing method to make a Zero sprite that would fit with upcoming storylines.
What significance does this have to the events of 300 years ago? You'll see.
